1. Acceptance of these terms

By visiting lanternfox.blog or submitting an enquiry through our contact form, you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors and prospective participants in Lanternfox experiences.

2. About Lanternfox

Lanternfox is a local experiences marketplace based at 315 Charoen Krung Road, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500. We connect visitors and residents with neighbourhood hosts who run hands-on experiences including market cooking workshops, guided old-town walking tours, and beginner photography half-days in Bangkok's Bang Rak district. Prices are listed in Thai Baht (฿).

3. Eligibility and user obligations

To use this site and enquire about a booking you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
  • Provide accurate contact details in the enquiry form.
  • Use the site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with other users or the site's operation.

Participants in experiences are expected to follow the guidance of their host and to behave respectfully towards other participants, the host, and any locations visited.

4. Bookings and payments

Submitting the contact form is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from Lanternfox by email. Prices shown on the site (฿3,400 – ฿4,500 per person depending on experience) are indicative and subject to change. The price applicable to your booking is the one stated in your confirmation. Payment arrangements are communicated at the time of confirmation.

5. Cancellations and changes

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with more than 48 hours' notice receive a full credit toward a future booking. For shorter notice, we handle each situation individually — please contact us as soon as you know. Lanternfox reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session in cases of low participation, host unavailability, or circumstances outside our control; in such cases, participants receive a full credit or refund of any amount paid.

6. Intellectual property

All text, photography, graphics, and other content on this website are the property of Lanternfox or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Reproducing or distributing site content without written permission is not permitted.

7. Acceptable use

When using this site you must not:

  • Submit false or misleading information in the enquiry form.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract content without permission.
  • Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. We take care to keep information accurate, but we do not warrant that all details are complete, current, or error-free. Outdoor and active experiences carry inherent variability; conditions on the day (weather, venue availability) may affect the programme. Lanternfox's liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the site or participation in an experience is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, to the extent prohibited by law.

9. Third-party links

The site may contain links to external websites for your convenience. We have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy. A link does not imply endorsement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from your use of the site or from a Lanternfox booking will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when changes were last made. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes we will aim to notify users who have an active booking.
